Gifts Through your Will or Trust

Proportional bequests are perfect for individuals who are not ready to specify an amount. The Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation (VCSF) receives a portion of what remains in the estate after family and friends or other beneficiaries have been satisfied. 

Specific bequests of money or property in your will benefit the VCSF in many ways. 

Contingent bequests provide the Foundation with all or a portion of the estate if your other named beneficiaries are no longer living. 

Sample Bequest Language

"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation, Tax ID #38-2499765, all (or state the percentage) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal. The VCSF may be contacted at 301 S. Kalamazoo, Vicksburg, MI 49097, 269-321-1006." 

"I give, devise, and bequeath $_____ or _____% to the Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation, Tax ID #38-2499765. The VCSF may be contacted at 301 S. Kalamazoo, Vicksburg, MI 49097, 269-321-1006."
